Chen Chi-chin (Lau Wing) is easily defeated by Gambler Hu Kuan-ten (Lo Lieh). His father Chen Yun-lung (Chang Ying), once known as "Righteous General" of the notorious "8 Generals of Trickery Hall", who had to give up gambling years ago when Hu crippled his hand, attempts to redeem the loss. But he loses at cards and winds up dead and his son enlists the aid of the remaining gamblers in order to defeat Hu in a high-stakes match.Chen appeals to his uncle Chou Shih-chiang (Chen Kuan-tai), who summons seven fellow professional gamblers to carry out vengeance. First, Chou imparts his sophisticated gambling techniques to Chen. The seven have Chen seduce Hu’s wife (Linda Chu) while recording their lovemaking.They use the negatives to extort a huge sum of money from Hu’s wife. Chen then uses it to play poker with Hu, using the video as the final stake. Hu watches the scandalous scenes on the tape, but continues with the betting. When he loses at the end, he kills his wife and then commits suicide.
